Checklist for supervisors

• Review project plans early and sign off any that involve hazards or human/animal participants.
• Ensure students keep an up-to-date logbook with dates, procedures and results.
• Confirm any fieldwork has appropriate permissions and risk assessments.
• Advise on data handling, consent forms, and privacy for human participants.

Help students distil findings into a clear poster or board. Encourage practice interviews and peer review sessions.
